Kane has spent the last 14 years recruiting some of the world’s best engineers for a portfolio of clients spanning Deep-Tech, AI and technology-driven hedge funds. He launched his first business in 2016, and grew Haigh to a team of 30 recruiters across data, machine learning and software engineering, prior to founding Search Technology independently in 2019.
He is deeply passionate about connecting individuals with career-defining opportunities and building teams of recruiters who share a genuine enthusiasm for the industry. Many of the technical recruiters he has trained have even transitioned into software engineering careers themselves.
Precision and accuracy are at the core of his headhunting approach. He respects people's time and believes that what sets him apart is his ability to grasp both the technical details and the cultural nuances of each role. This focus is why clients consistently choose to work with him.
He is committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvement, both personally and professionally. When he is not working, Kane is dedicated to spending quality time with his young family while striving to make the most of every day. Outside of family and work, he pursues a range of passions: ultra-running, golf, hybrid training, and reading across a broad spectrum of subjects. His interests include AI research, venture capital, macroeconomics, geopolitics, biohacking and longevity through to space exploration, and more.
